Meet Our Veterinarians
Dr. Jenny N. Larsen received her B.S. from Smith College. She then attended VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her D.V.M. degree. After completion of an internship program in New Haven, CT, she moved to Richmond, Virginia, where she was employed as an Associate Veterinarian at Pocoshock Animal Hospital from 1987 to April, 2009. Beginning in April of 2009, Dr. Larsen became our Veterinarian-In-Charge. She held a position on the executive board of the Central Virgina Veterinary Association as secretary-treasurer from 1992 to 1997. She also organized and directed local publicity for National Pet Week for two years.
Dr. Jay B. Friedrich received his B.S. from The College of William and Mary. He then earned his D.V.M. degree from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has been with us since July, 2014.
